Movie Review: The Prophetess

 

When you chill to watch a Football match, if it’s not so exciting the first 30mins, you’d be chilling in my case, I would have loved to eat and drink my popcorn if I had, but I didn’t because a friend bought me the movie ticket which was outrageous by the way and spending anything more than 6k to watch a movie would have been something else. As I watched the movie I hoped that we would get our money’s worth along the line.

Thankfully, in the final one hour of the movie, I was held spell bound, eyes fixated on the screen, my heart leaped like I was on the pitch, searching and anxiously waiting for the ball to fall from the sky or enter into the net, and when it did, the entire audience in the cinema hall, screamed... “it’s a goal”!This meant a lot, that God was faithful first, and just a little hope could change a lot in any man’s world...

Overall i’d relate this movie a 6/10
