Album Review: Made in Lagos by Wizkid

The Album has some controversies associated with it, some appreciating and others not so much. 

I knew Wizkid wanted to express a different type of sound from when he made the song “Come Closer” with drake. It was a beautiful song with a different sound from Wizkid but some thought otherwise, as they weren’t used to the new sound fromu the Afro Pop Star.

Wizkid’s fans were all over the internet singing accolades for the Star with the release of the album. But I knew I still had to listen to the album because the last time I went with public opinion, I found out that there were just 3 or 4 songs on the album and my high spirits were dampened.

After listening to “Made in Lagos” album I liked the sound tune I heard, it was different. But I downloaded 2 songs to my playlist.

The songs are;

1. Sweet One

2. Piece of Me ft Ella Mai

While listening to the Album at some point i felt it was titled no stress after one of the songs on the album, because it sounded like a no stress album, just someone that wanted to make good music. The songs on the album transforms you into a no stress zone.

The instrumental accompaniments had a certain refinement to it, blended with the soothing calm voice of the musician.

Overall i rate the Album a 7/10
